About us
A women's knitwear house in Romagna, founded in 2021 by Mirco Giovannini and the entrepreneur Gianluca Marchetti.
The label is Mirco Giovannini Atelier Folleria, and it works from San Giovanni in Marignano, in the province of Rimini — a town of a few thousand people, among companies that supply the international fashion industry.
Everything starts from the thread. Knit here is not a cloth the studio buys and cuts but the structure it builds with, which is why a piece takes as long as it takes — designed, knitted, prototyped and knitted again until it is right.

The work
Noble yarns are set against technical ones — silk against the fibres used in a running shoe — and the result stands closer to architecture than to a sweater. Fishing line holds a volume away from the body; a luminescent thread runs where a seam would.
The collections arrive as capsules, each one its own world. Knitcouture and its balloon dress, drawn from fifties volumes. Karmasutra, two kimonos and two crewnecks in double-faced black and white jacquard. Clouds, voile against pure silk on the finest frames, made to weigh almost nothing.
